Ashlee Nicole Simpson néven 1984. október 3-án született a Texas államban található Waco-ban. Ash már gyerekkora óta balettozott. Szülei be is íratták egy balett intézetbe. 14 évesen nõvére háttér táncosa lett. Ash mégis abba hagyta a balettot és Jessica példáját követve (a mi legnagyobb örömünkre) ő is el kezdett énekelni. 2001-ben indult színészi karrierje, elõször kisebb szerepeket kapott...
